Panda GlobalはAkamaruredさん主催のBO3練習トーナメント。
RAGEなど公式の大型大会の形式に慣れることを目的に開催された今回のトーナメント。
賞金などは出ないものの、リージョンフリーで誰でも参加できます。
（PS4のグラブルバーサスのベータテストに参加キーがもらえた可能性が微レ存でしたが）
さくっとおさらいしておくと、
- ラウンド１をスイスドローBO3で戦う。
- ラウンド２を上位８人の決勝トーナメントとし、シングルエリミネーションで最強を競う。
というものです。（しっかりと明記されているわけじゃないので、間違ってたらごめんち）
上段がRAGEのDay1-Day2（プレーオフ除く）に相当し、下段が同じくグランドファイナルズに当たるわけです。
初回となった今回、どうなったのでしょうか・・・。
まさかのトーナメント中止
結論から言うと、今回はトーナメント自体中止になりました。
みんなBattlefyに慣れておらず、仕様が分かってなかったり、シャドバだけに通信エラーが起こったり、ちょっとトラブルが多かったためです。
もう少し言うと、トーナメントが作り直され、１回戦が２回行われました。
JCGのようにDiscordで全般連絡が行われたので、アカマルさんのチャットをかいつまんで流れを説明すると、次のような感じに。
- ラウンド２にラウンド１敗退者が残っていた。
- ラウンド１終了時点で一度トーナメント表をリセット。シングルエリミネーションルールに変更し、再度１回戦を行った。
- （スイスドロートーナメントを削除することができず、参加者は複数のトーナメントにチェックインしている状態になってしまった）
こういう経緯があって、今回はトーナメントは中止となり、あとは参加予定だった人たちで好きなように対戦する時間になりました。
このへんはドロップアウトした後のRAGEに似てますね。
今後について
今回は初回でみんな勝手がわからなかったこともあり、中止というちょっと残念な形になってしまいました。
主催のアカマルさんは、週末はBattlefyの仕様を確認して、来週からトーナメントが開催できるように準備してくださるとのことです。
イベントの主催って、参加しているだけの側からはわからないような苦労や難しさがたくさんあったりします。そういうのを踏まえて、今回、そして今後も主催してくださるアカマルさんに最大限の感謝を。

English translation
Shadowverse BO3 practice tournament held by Akamarured from Panda Global.
The main purpose was to get used to the format of official e-Sports tournament, like SVO or RAGE.
There was no prize for the champion, and no region restriction.
(Beta test key for "Grandblue Fantasy Versus" could be the prize... maybe.)
Rules are very simple.
- Round 1 : Battle on BO3 with Swiss-system matching.
- Round 2 : Top 8 of Round1 can join, and battle in BO3 single elimination.
(There was no strict explanation of rules, let me know if there's a mistake.)
Round 1 is same as day1-day2 (not including the play-off tournament) of RAGE, and Round 2 is same as the grand finals.
So, it was the very first time of the weekly tournament... and how it went?
Ultimately it was cancelled
As a result, the tournament itself was cancelled at this time.
Not everyone was used to Battlefy. Some didn't understand how it works or connection error only occured for Shadowverse app... have to say, there were too many troubles.
Speaking of a detail, the bracket was remade, and we had Round 1 for 2 times.
Like the other online tournament, Discord was used as contact and announcement tool. Here's what's happened during the tournament with summery of Aka's chat.
- Dropped out players appeared in Round 2 bracket.
- After Round 1 is over, the bracket was reset. Rules changed to single elimination, and restarted Round 1 again.
- (But the Swiss-system bracket was unable to delete, so participants had different brackets of same tournament displayed on Battlefy pages.)
...Hmm, complicated.
So, including those as reasons, the tournament was cancelled. After the cancellation, participants were allowed to battle freely with using the Discord channel.
Similar situation often happens in RAGE, when you dropped out.
Aftertime...?
At this time, because it was the very first time for everyone, and didn't know how to make it or how it goes normally. Cancellation was alittle pity result to me, but no one was wrong at all.
Aka also says in Discord that he tests Battlefy this weekend, and he's going to create another tournament next week.
Hosting an event is not so easy, I think. There are some difficulties that we cannot feel only joining as a participant.
